WiSE Owl Café
Open every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (9am-3pm) and Friday (10am-3pm).
Men’s Breakfast Club on Fridays from 10am.
Everyone welcome.
Boston Spa Village Hall
Welcome Café
Welcome Café serves hot drinks, soup, rolls and cakes in a warm, safe environment
It takes place on Tuesdays, from 11.30am-1pm at Wetherby Town Hall.
Memory Cafe
Our Memory Cafe supports those living with dementia and their carers by providing an appropriate setting to focus on clients’ wellbeing. The sessions are facilitated by a trained staff member, alongside WiSE’s volunteers. Support and advice will also be offered to family carers to assist them in their day-to-day continuing and challenging caring role.
Memory Cafe meets every second and fourth Wednesday of the month, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm at The Church Rooms, St James’ Church in Wetherby.
Criteria for attending café: Person living with dementia must live within the WiSE catchment area, have a dementia diagnosis confirmed and must attend Memory Café with carer/family member. The cafe is open for referrals only – both agency and personal. Please phone WiSE before attending on 01937 588994. The session costs £4 for carer and person living with dementia inclusive. A meet up with Emma our dementia lead will be arranged prior to attending the café to assess if the café would be appropriate.
Forget Me Not Café
Forget Me Not’ café is a respite session for carers – to offer carers a well-deserved break, knowing that their loved ones are in safe hands.
The café is held on the first Wednesday of the month from 1.30pm-3.30pm at The Church Rooms, St James Church in Wetherby.
Forget Me Not is open to existing Memory Cafe attendees only.
Exercise
Line Dancing
Fun and easy going, no dancing experience is required.
Every Friday- 10.15am-12pm

Move & Groove
A fun, informal dance class with everything from Salsa to Bollywood, Disco to Freestyle and anything in-between.

Silver Social
Silver Social is a social event held every third Wednesday of the month from 1.30pm-3.30pm.
£5 including refreshments at The Engine Shed, Wetherby. No ticket required.
Bar open for drinks and trays of cheesy chips or fries for an additional cost.
Let’s Dance with Lee Lambert-Brooks
Let’s Dance with Lee Lambert-Brooks is a an afternoon jam-packed with tunes and a dance floor ready for you to boogie to hits from every decade!
Held once a quarter from 1.30pm-4pm at The Engine Shed, Wetherby. No ticket required. Bar is open for drinks.

Weekly coffee morning.
